I heard you all were having a stellar fall, so I've packed up my cyclocross bike and am heading your way for a visit - arriving Monday 12 Oct!!
I was hoping to catch the Saturday ride next weekend (17 Oct), but things appear to be quiet on the forum here...
Mike, Noel, Pete, Rob - any chance to rouse you guys out for a spin? Would be lovely to see you all again. Emily - are you in town, would be great to finally actually meet you!
I would also be game for a ride in the forest on Thursday, 15 Oct, if anyone out there has an "alternative" work schedule. Don't much know my way around, as it's been two years, so a guide would be much appreciated!
I'll be reachable by email/computer - so post back here or email me at jilayne@lovejoydesigns.com
Cheers,
Jilayne (the Colorado girl on the 'cross bike) |

Hey Jilayne,
Good to here from you, and hope you're well.
Don't want to take anything away from this forum at all, but you might want to check out http://groups.google.com/group/mbr-over35
These guys and girls meet at the top Car Park of Chingford Plaines in Bury Road on a Saturday morning at 11am. Thats just up the hill to where I treated you for lunch in the golf club cafe that time. You won't miss them, they usually have about 20 to 40 riders out.
I'm recovering from 3 broken ribs right now after a Motocross off a few weeks back, so no where near fit enough to take you out for a ride at the pace you can ride at.
Also, a Sunday morning, meet at Heales Cycles in Highams Park 9am, well worth a ride with those guys too.
Cheers J.
