Hi Guys & Gals,
I know that this is a little bit 'lastminute.com' but does anyone fancy a couple of days riding in Afan/Cwmcarn THIS weekend?
My mate has just texted me from his 'deathbed', suffering a terrible, life-threatening bout of 'man-flu' and is looking for a miracle to enable him to recover in time to accompany me to South Wales on Friday evening!
Taking into account his general lack of fitness anyway, I think it would kill him so, if anyone does not mind sharing a TWIN B&B ROOM and a round-trip in my car, do I have any takers for a ridiculously-warm November 'Wales Trails' trip?
The deposit is already paid, so I am offering two nights in a MTB-friendly B&B with all the riding you can take (The Wall, The Skyline, White's Level!!) for £50 (with the petrol and a couple of beers thrown in free)!!
If you are interested, post a reply and I'll give out more details.....
For those not familiar with my moniker, my real name is Gary and I ride a bright yellow Kona Kula on the Epping raids most weekends (but don't let that put you off).

Dude.. I am most tempted by that...
Will have to have a word with the better half
Other issue could be that I am in Wapping so hooking up with you with bike and bits on the Friday could be tricky as I wont have a motor available to me.
I will let you know if I can free up the time. |

John,
If there is somewhere we could both get to fairly easily on Thursday night (me in my car), I could collect your main heavy stuff (& bike?) so you'd only have to get yourself across town on Friday evening with a light bag of essentials?
I am in NW2 (Cricklewood).
A train out of Paddington to West Drayton would be the best way to meet me for someone using public transport. That way it's just a quick swoop down to the M4 and 'Wales, here we come!'.
What time could you leave work on Friday (I finish by 5pm)? The earlier we get away from London, the less we have to fight through the traffic.
It would be good to have you along for the crack (not rhyming slang for your bike!). _________________ Too many trails, not enough time! |

Hello m8. I need to find out what is already booked for me with the GF.. we are house hunting at the mo so weekend time is a bit precious.
If I can make it I will hop on a train out of paddington on Friday as i wont have any free time tomorrow.
I will know for sure what i am doing by midday tomorrow. Drop me a PM with your mobile and I will drop you a line at lunch. |

John is unfortunately unable to make it this weekend so I still have a space going on the cheap!!
Anyone fancy some fantastic riding in Wales, leaving Friday evening?
A travelling/riding partner would certainly improve my trip, do you want to be that helpful person?
Post a reply if interested and I'll PMsg you with further details.
First come, first served and the sooner the better for organising!!
Thanks,

Id like o add that the trails at Afan/Cwmcarn are simply world class. Rode there about a month ago and it was the best riding I have done ever. Don't pass up the opportunity if you can |
