Sat. Taking advantage of Last ever Beastway! Hoping to sign up on the day, Grand Vets start at 3.30 pm don't know about the rest. I will be there about 2.30pm if its not raining, anybody going to join me. Understand someone else will be posting up re an away day to Swinly Forest.
Sunday usual 10.00am start from Bike Shed, hoping to explore over to the Loughton side of the forest if Mukesh can remember the right routes, there is some good riding and it makes a change, certainly for us leading not being quite sure where we are going but never letting on.

Im in Norway this weekend so wont be able to make it...
...also the trains up to Chingford from Liv street seem a little messed up at the weekend... you have to get a bus service from Hackney Downs? Obviously that doesnt work with a bike. Does anyone know how long that is going on for? |

Whiplash,
Welcome to the Epics forum!
The usual weekend ride starts at the Bike Shed shop in George Lane in South Woodford and goes the long, windy, singletrack route to High Beach and back. Average distance is about 25 miles but will probably shorten as the mud gets thicker!
We normally get back to South Woodford by about 2pm but that does include the 're-fuelling' (read pies, burgers, chips and cups of tea!) stop at the caff next to the pub at High Beach!
Look forward to seeing you at a ride soon? _________________ Too many trails, not enough time! |

And just a thought, I know this is blasphemous but does anyone wanna do the odd 60 mile timed ride soonish....? |

Hi Guys (and Gals)
Just wondered if anyone was doing the standard Epping morning ride tomorrow (Saturday)? I have to be back by mid-late afternoon so Beastway is a no-no (unfortunately) but I am up for an a.m. blast!
If not, I'll have to arrange something else, Swinley sounds good if anyone else is thinking about it. I keep meaning to go and have not managed it yet...
Enjoy the Beastway day! _________________ Too many trails, not enough time! |

Actually, now I look at it properly, I only JUST qualify as a Master, 1 year older and I'd be Veteran!

| Still don't know if I'm working or not...but if I am , it'll probably be towards the afternoon into the evening...basically I think I'm likely to hit the forest tomorrow. Probably aim for the underpass rather than the bike shop though... |
