I am not sure if
a) I missed everyone today (Saturday) despite being at the Waterworks underpass between 10:10 & 10:40 and the cafe at High Beach between 11:30 & 12:30 OR
b) I WAS the Epping Forest Epics ride, as I rode the (somewhat improvised!) route solo today!!
I think some more mobile number-swapping is required!!?
It was very soggy, but mostly surface water as it's not properly soaked into the ground yet. Although a somewhat shorter distance, I still had a good ride.

| Re the ride on your own, am sory no one else turned up to company on your ride,I had posted up on Friday that I was unable to take the rides this weekend, though I did turn up on my road bike at 10.00 am at the bike shed to see if anybody was there. I also note that several people had arranged an away day for Saturday. Hope this explains it a bit and look forward to riding again, though it looks like its going to be back on with the Mud Tyres. Regards. Mike. |

GT i see your problem, same happened to me yesterday. Good ride if a little wet and greasy. Drop me a personal note if you want to swap numbers to avoid solo raids thjrough the forest.

| What a phase of badness! Lurking over casting ankle, butt and bike woes. Bring Sir Lancelot, that's what I say. |
