Saturday ride to Epping Forest, Leaving from Bike Shed Shop George Lane South Woodford 10.00 am.

Sunday, North Downs, (Leith Hill). Leave from Bike Shed 8.30 am aiming to meet & arrive at Gomshall Railway station about 10.00am . Station is on the A25 between Guildford & Dorking. Please try to let me know re Sundays ride if you intend to meet at South Woodford or Gomshall. This is a Strenous ride of 15miles inc a 700foot climb to the top of Leith hill the highest point in Southeast England. p.s there are some nice watering holes along the route. see you all soon . Mike well up for that as my first away day. As im central and dont have access to a motor I will hop on a train. Redhill to Gomshall is a once an hour affair on sundays so I wont be there till 10.13. If you could hang about for me that would be ace Smile

I aim to out both days, just need to get some new brakes for my bike which will do today, fit this afternoon and bed them in.

Mike on Sunday, I will travel down from Stevenage to meeting place on my own and meet there I should be there for about 9.30ish

Imagine rides are similar, the ride we will do is based on that shown in " Cycle tours Around London " by Nick Cotton Based on Ordnance survey maps. If you get a copy the route we will be doing is off road route No. 8.
Leith Hill southeast from Gomshall, see you Sunday. Mike.
