Both rides leaving from Bike Shed 10.00 am. There will be no Epping Forest ride on Sat 3. June, day trip to Cwmcarn Forest, South Wales, all welcome. Details on Forum or contact me for details. See all of you brave enough at the Beastway on Wednesday May 24. Race starts at 7.30pm. Sugest you get there no later than 6.30 to sign in and have a practice lap. If you need to enter a club team name, you can always put EpicMtbGreece! there I go again. See you all soon. Hope your leg is healing John after the trip to A & E after Sundays ride, at least you didn't get lost. Seriously hope all is O.K. Oh one thing I must mention, Tonto's bike with the Rholouf (dont Know how its spelled) gearbox got jammed in low gear on Sundays mud, who said they were foolproof.

Let's be clear about this Mick, I had trouble with the gripshift after a stack which meant I had to choose one gear and use that for the last third of the ride. This was due to my poor attempt at changing the cables recently.
I would have been alright at the Beastway on Wedneday _________________ it's all good in the wood! |

Knee is looking better, but still not healed properly and is still a little bit inflamed.
Think the way the weather is at the moment will avoid risking infecting the wound any more. _________________ Very soon you will see me back on a bike, bitching and moaning every time I see a hill. |

I'll be out tomorrow. Missed the last few weeks and have been chomping at the bit to get out... got side tracked by a stag do, wedding and bleary eyed mornings.
Bailed out of beastway as the weather looked mightily wet and horrible... well done Mick & Leon MTB die hards: you put the rest of us fair weather types to shame.
What happend to the drought - just as the forest was trying out we now have bramble arm shredders and greasy gloop... cool. _________________ Never lose faith in the colour of the sky. |
