I have looked on the BikeMagic website and they're talking about a new mountain bike track that's opening in Bedebury, Kent (half way between London and Hastings) in May. They previewed it as Easter. The mountain bike loop is 13km long and apparently not massively hilly, but lots of corners to master taking at speed. There's also some elevated single track and narrow paths (and I mean just a little wider than a tyre), so perhaps a place to perfect technical stuff. CHeck out www.forestry.gov.uk/bedgebury.

Perhaps a trip out later in the summer is in order?
