Hope all those who came riding last weekend enjoyed it, did manage all three days and am still feeling it , what with our little trip to Hainault Forest on Sunday.
This weekend hoping to restablish our preferred fast & furious for Saturday, bearing in mind I'm riding it won't be that fast or furious but we like to try. Sunday will be more relaxed with time made for new riders and opportunities to practice some skill control rather than just get round as quick as possible. Though this can change if everbody just wants to do something different. Start both days 10.00 am South Woodford meeting point. Lets all hope the weather stays as it is, we may even be in for a mud free ride. Well one can always live in hope.
Hope to be riding the Beastway series, anyone else interested in entering as a team! I thought a good name might be Epicmtbgreece.
Hope to see you all soon again Mick The Greek, keep pedaling.

Hi Mick
I'm not sure I've got time for a full ride on Saturday......I was thinking how long does it usually take to get to the High Beach bikers car park ?
I could bail out there and take the road back to South Woodford ?
Cheers

| Hi Rich, we usually get to high beech about 12.15 pm, you could always bail out then, but you would miss the best part of the ride back, as its all downhill, promise! |

Ha! Yes true but last time, after that mamoth ride with you me and Zi I ended up with flu for 5 days....it really knocked it out of me! Besides I'm supposed to be going out in the afternoon so hence having to call it short. |

Was it man-flu?
You could always ride up to High Beach on the road and do the best bit.
I guess that doesn't solve the problem with your afternoon commitments though. _________________ Mountain Biking Holidays in Greece

Hey Mick
Not sure what you did to Rich and Sze last time out that they can only now manage half routes?!..........mind you considering I am no fitter than they I will have to follow their lead......
See you on Saturday at High Beech around 12 for the home stretch.

Hello all.
I've got to work next couple of weekends.darn it.
I was in the forest on tuesday ,conditions were drying fast so i should imagine today will be lovely. time to take off the trailrakers...hurrah.
Mick - aiming to do the first Beastway ,but due to my shifts/hols etc won't be able to commit to all the races for the epicmountainbikegreece team (snappy name that). Besides my people haven't heard from your people regarding image rights and the like .
Have fun today.

I'd like to join for a Sunday ride, but nothing too fast/fancy, as it will be my first ride in Epping and I'm not fit for that kind of stuff anyway.
Can we agree on a starting place/time and then a bail-out place/approximate time?

Hi Apapadop...not sure if you wanted to come out tomorrow or whether you'll get this, but we meet at 10 am @ south woodford, corner of George Lane & Pulteney Road - Used to be 'The Bike Shed'.
Trails are awesome now and much easier to ride...we reach high beech around 12/12.30 and you could drop off then.
Good luck.

Just to confirm todays ride Sunday will be at a more leisured pace than Saturday and no rider will be left to fend for themselves.
See you all 10.00 am South Woodford meeting point, check on forum for meeting points if not sure.
Cheers to all Mike. |

Well that was fun!
Thanks to Mick for leading and all who attended. I managed to keep my oops-here-I-go-into-the-mud number to a single digit, so I'm happy.
Here's a picture of the onslaught of the tea hut.
