Well here goes, I just wish it would stop raining, I'm getting really pissed off. If its not raining Sat. Sun 10.00 am start Sth Woodford meeting point.
Sat ride Epping Forest.
Sunday Ride, for a change Hainault Forest via the river Roding with a loop through the area where the Beastway races are staged, give you an idea what you're in for if you have a go at it.
Monday back to Epping Forest, but please check posts re any alteration and for weather information.
Cheers to all Mike.

Hi Mick
Yes the rain is getting me down too.....still waiting to fit my non-mud tyres and after last saturday's sun thought it might have turned alas no luck.
I will try to get out....I have been roped into decorating so who knows...it will definitely be dependent on the sunshine, Im keen to see the Beastway course.
I'll keep an eye on the web.......
Cheers

Mike,
I hope to get out on Saturday and / or Monday. Saturday looks best for the weather at the moment.
Can’t make Sunday, which is a shame as you are planning on Hainault.
I’ll keep you posted…..

If you get this in time, Re Sunday, Ride meet usual place Sth Woodford, ride will be along Roding River to Hainault. Riding standard will be very varied, it may even end up with 2 groups.
Cheers Mike. |

great Mick, I'll see you guys at 10. I might be 5mins late. But if I am I will ring you.
My pump blew off the roof of my car yesterday, so I hope I don't get any punctures.
I might be on the slower group, it been ages since I been on the bike. My wrist is still a little funny. |

Hi Nick,
Hope to be out tomorow (monday) all being well. Thanks to all who came out so far this weekend. After all the falls we had on Saturday, we surprisingly only had the one of merit today, right at the end at Charlie Browns Roundabout ,comming to a standstill Noel , who is quite a large man (muscular), was unable to unclip from his pedals and like the proverbial bag of spuds just keeled over totaly frozen with his hands gripped to the bars, hopefully no long lasting injuries, though his pride may have hurt a bit! Nice to see Jon out again, long time no see. Look forward to Mukesh, Dave & Martin soon being able to join up for the full riide. Hope you enjoyed Hainault.
Cheers to All Mike. |

Pedal malifunction......
That or the MTB Gods punished me for not getting muddy. On second thoughts, landing in the mud whould have been alot more comfortable than the pavement.
