Looking forward to riding this weekend, 10.00 am start both days start Sth Woodford, all riders welcome, young or old, men & women. Recent rides finishing about 2pm. Slowly getting back into biking again after the enforced layoff (Skiing injury), and winter weather. If its raining will not be riding.Nice to be riding again with Pete & Alan last weekend, forest suprisingly dry.
Best wishes to all , Mike, P.S. Pete's threatened to join me this weekend,

Hi Mike
I'm new here and haven't been out for a ride with you guys yet. I understand Sunday is the easier day...do you ride from Southwoodford tube station?
Be great to finally get back out in the forest!
cheers

Hi Rich,
At the moment the ride on both days is pretty easy as most people are just beginning to come back after the winter layoff. The meeting point is to the South Side of Sth Woodford Station, check meeting points on Epping forest rides, its the first listing.
See you over the weekend, Mike. (If its pouring with rain forget it) |

Trails to the south of the forest are surprisingly dry at the moment, although the usual suspects are as grim as ever so hopefully all groups are doing their best to avoid these spots. _________________ that humerus still ain't humorous |

Just to report that conditions on Sat ride were fine, 4 of us riding in the end, look forward to riding again with Mark & Ian. Weather report for Sunday looks bad, but if its not raining to hard will be there for 10.00am.
Regards to all. Anybody thinking of joining us in Greece may be pleased to know a new airline , Aegean Air, will be operating out of Stanstead to Athens and affordable. |

Thans for the comments, glad you all enjoyed the bikeing. Hopefully see you all out again next weekend. By the way of a postscript, met up with Allen after the ride at Russells wine bar and watched West Ham crash to another 4-0 defeat, now thats what I call punishment.
Cheers to all, Mike. |
