|
|
For the time being I will not be riding for a few weeks, having picked up an injury skiing in France. Someone took me from the rear,(on the piste) at speed! Which resulted to a visit to a french clinic for a torn/broken ligaments on the thumb. The person who took me out also didn't stop to exchange details. Well, of to the fracture clinic at Whipps X on Wednesday will let you know when I will be riding soonest.
Regards to all, Mike.

| Ouch Mick, hopefully you are up and riding soon. I hope you took a really good book to the fracture clinic. |

Oh Mick, I suppose after being 'taken up the rear at speed' it's lucky there weren't any more severe injuries...
Sorry you're off the bike..next time you're out there, see if you can find him and maybe take HIM up the rear??
Sorry again.

Mike,
Sorry to hear about your accident……
To be honest with the rain we are having it’s perhaps not such a loss not being in the forest.
If when you are on the bike again and fancy a ‘road’ ride one Saturday, as it’s not so hard on the 'big thumb', let me know.

| Thank you for all the kind thoughts, regarding my thumb! Am due to see a consultant tomorrow (22,1,2008). Will post outcome, though with the weather as it is may take up Nicks offer for a road ride, who else is now up for joining a few roadies. |

| I'm up for the road Chaps...The lure of those windy bluster face chillers is all too tempting...Besides, I'm getting well bored with the route to work and fancy some new roads, perhaps a bit more interesting than North London. |
