Hope to be riding both days, 10.00 am start South Woodford. Well the weather has finally changed and expect to find conditions muddey from now on, will be fitting my mud tyres , breaks my heart having to let the air out of the tyres when theres nothing wrong. Well lets have fun in the mud as long as its not raining! fast & furious Sat, calm and paced for Sunday.

Mike
Sorry I missed last weekend
I was knocked off my bike on the way to work last Friday, the drivers fault. Fortunately I only sustained bruising, although the road bike is a right off.
I hope to ride to work tomorrow and if that goes ok I will try and get out at the weekend.

Hi Nick,
Sory to hear about your accident, the road is a dangerous place, certainly when compared to the forest. Hope your are ok for Saturday, shame you missed last week, six riders all going fast.

Errr.. you forgot that I was riding with you last Saturday, didn't you?
I'm helping my OH move into a new flat this weekend so am unable to make it but after my performance last week, that's probably no bad thing for the rest of you!
I tried the Surrey Hills on Sunday and was even worse, my legs' batteries were so utterly flat that I had to give up and come home after about 40 minutes! I could not get up the easiest of gradients and my balance was also all over the shop.
I hope that a weekend off, some decent sleep and good food will allow me to ride as usual in the coming weeks...
Have a great ride everyone,
Cheers,
