Nice to have seen a few more people out last weekend, quite eventfull one way or the other. Will be taking the ride Saturday, leaving from the old bike shed shop at South Woodford at 10.00 am, forests getting drier so hopefully do our full normal route and tag on a 40 min loughton loop with a great downhill section.
Unable to take ride Sunday, have to go to some function or other, anybody up to take ride please post.

I've been out every night this week for a few hours. Although there is still some SLOP in some of the single track, it's getting dryer by the day. Still not got my bike muddy enough to wash it, just a bit dusty. It's so nice out there right now.

Going to try for one day, not sure which yet. Just in case, can someone riding on Sunday PM me a mobile number, in case I miss you at the start as I'll either be coming in from Slough or Southend!?

Cheers,

Gary

Should be along tomorrow, I missed out today after overdoing it on the Critical Mass ride last night....

How is the ground drying out? I'm tempted to bring the Kona but can't be arsed to change the Wildgrippers for non-summer ( Rolling Eyes ) tyres as it's also my off/on/off-road commuter.

See you in the morning,

Gary

I have no idea about conditions as haven't been out since June.

Only have a short pass out for the morning - so will hang on at the underpass. If i'm not there by 10.10 then i'm stuck changing nappies and press on without me. I'll catch up if i can.

Hi All,

Coming from Slough for Sunday's ride meant arriving too late to catch the group and had no numbers to contact them. I found my own, somewhat explorational, route to HB that seemed to have made me late enough to miss everyone. I was about to head back alone when I was able to meet with Rai and Dan, out on a later run.

Had a really good blast back that really worked a sweat that I would not have managed solo, as I would have been extra careful to not crash, etc.

Cheers, Guys, my long round-trip was not for nothing!

I even cleaned a couple of bits that I'd never managed before!
