Hi, first post (hopefully not my last)!
Took myself off to the forest yesterday, for an evening ride amongst the trees. Bar the mudfest that occurred at 'the ditches' (best avoided at the moment), during the 2+ hours steady state cycle, i honestly only saw two other mountain bikers and a dodgy looking dog walker!
Wow what an evening - even with the delay along the M25 getting to the forest (visitors centre), it was well worth while.
Basically wondering if anyone else is interested in some evening cycles (while the light lasts) or Saturday mornings to get fit?
I have been riding in the forest for the last two years, mostly Sunday morning epics (2-4 hours). Recent injury (weight gain) has left me only managing 2+ hours at the moment, however looking to build up to previous levels.
Not interested in night cycling, as i manage to hit trees in good visability and Sundays are too complicated at the moment.
Let me know - happy to set a route or follow the more experienced.
Regards.

No set days although moreoften Thursday - times vary from 6.30 to 7.00 start but it's informal.
This week we are meeting at 7 on Wednesday at the tea hut HB. Couple of hours (meant to be sunny and dry!!) then the pub afterwards (not obligatory lol) _________________ that humerus still ain't humorous |
