Hey there
i dont' think we've met, but Pete (Smelleyengine) and I will be riding Sunday from the Snaresbrook Road carpark at 0900 tomorrow. If you have ridden with Mick before we would be getting to the underpass at about 0910/15 if you wanna wait there for us, or come down to the carpark.

Hey there John and ElmonLtd
Sorry didn't make it out this morning. In Harold Wood it was trashing down the rain from 0700-0900 hours, so I had a lie- in and then went for a little meander around Brentwood. I hope you two at least managed to catch up with eachother cos Pete didn't go either. Gutted though, cos it's turned out to be a nice day.
My new Kona Kikapu Deluxe is still looking very new!

Yep, I've gone all bouncy! I realised that my bones could no longer take the bashing that they've been having and that I might not keep getting injured if something else (other than me) was absorbing the shock. Have yet to see if it's paid off. testing time coming up in a week or so....
The Trek has not been relegated just yet. It has slicks on it and has ridden the Tour Prologue, so it's not too disgruntled.
See you in the forest soon, if it ever decides to stop raining. Surely the tank must be empty now?

I went out for a spin last night and it was stonking... juuuust dry enough to get the groove on. As long as it doesn't tip it down today I will be doing the same tonight. All it needs is a week of dryness to be back to its magic best no sign of that happening any time soon however. |
