I will be riding both days, meeting Bike Shed Shop George Lane, E.18.
10.00 A.M. Hope to see a you there.
Just a brief line to let you know that both myself and Tonto competed in The 1st Beastway at Hainault, well organised and good fun, which was basicaly, slog uphill, go across with sharp narrow corners and then belt down hill, great riding, traditional weather, rain . Why don't you make it a regular mid week ride, the weather can only get better.

Good work chaps. Sorry I couldn't join you, was too busy having a massage...very tiring.....
I'm planning on getting out this weekend too so unless it's coming down in buckets I'll see you at the Bike Shed.
PS Went to high beech today and after all this rain the forest is back to it's old ways... |

Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow morning, will call Mick The G if I am joining you, if I will not be at the 'Shed before 10am...
It's been weeks and I've missed the Forest!
Cheers,

Yes,
It was a funny one today! I left late from mine and the distance (near Slough) meant that I only arrived at the underpass at about 10:30! Missed everyone and only had Mick the G's number and he did not ride (hope your mother is feeling better, BTW) so just decided to belt it and catch up.
One problem. Well, two, the first being that I am BADLY out of shape and the second that I struggle to remember the route on my own!
Did manage at least 80% of the outward route and was well pleased with myself and then had the pleasure of bumping into Lefty Jon at the cafe for 10 mins. Waited about 45 mins for the others, gave up at 12:35 and set off home, on my own again!
Most of the way back, I caught up with Rai and another guy who were in the original gang from the 'Shed and finished the return ride with them.
It turned out that they were at the Green Hut for most of the time I was drinking my brew...
Catch you all soon, I'll be better organised next time! _________________ Too many trails, not enough time! |

| We ended up at the green hut as there was a huge queue of kids at the happy hut...all probably wanting chips and burgers. So we chose to avoid her lovely smile and sweet smalltalk in favour of old greeny. Shame we missed you though, had a good ride with Nick and Bullet was it? Good ride all in all, but the saturday was still showing in the old legs. I must confess...we did chop the big mig out the route..... |

Bullet or Crazy Rai, whatever you feel is most apt for the time... It was a pleasure riding with you guys and it was brilliant seeing GAZZA!!! Even though he did have a broken finger! |
