Here we go again, usual 10.00 am Bike shed meet both days, all the people who have missed the last few weeks have missed out, it was so cold all the mud froze, hope to see a few old faces. If the weather is poor we may shorten the ride. What do you think ?

hi mick, hopefully will be riding with you guys this sunday (if shackleford isn't too draining!).
i know what you mean about the frozen mud - due to young babies in the house i'm under orders to ride early to, and i quote 'get it out of the way!!' the upside of this is that at 7am on a sunday it's FREEEEEEZING but fast. it's surprising the number of other early riders you meet at that time too. |

Mick, I'm feeling really rubbish today as I'm full of cold, so I'm a doubt for tomorrow now. It all depends on how I'm feeling on Saturday morning. I’ll post on here at around 8:30 and let you know if I’m definitely coming or not.
Cheers

Hello Mick,
missed you by 15mins at the shop on Sunday - a hungry, poo caked baby daughter needing attention at 9.40 sidetracked me. Bolted off in direction we went last weekend and followed the same route give or take a couple of diversions due to confusing mud & trees but to no avail. All going well till hydraulic brake failure a mile or so shy of High Beach. Brake fluid everywhere but no pressure on the pads... great!
Greasy sticky gloop a mixed blessing then on the return leg as couldn't really get enough speed up to warrant brake use anyhow.
Should have technical issues resolved by next week and should be there (on time mehopes) on sunday.
