Hey, it's now been a year and six days since I celebrated my birthday with a ride around Epping Forest. I seem to recall that there's someone here who's had a week short of a decade more life experience than me. Happy birthday to you.

In March this year I was this >< close to getting a 12 month secondment to London - so close that I was already thinking about what bike I'd buy - but that plan was unfortunately overturned. I've missed the mud, the rides in the forest, the mud, Beastway (great to hear that a new track has been found), the mud, the fun company... and did I mention the mud? (even though I wasn't there for the worst of it)

Have fun, Leon.

Nice of you to think of us, but lay of all the mud, you know with all this global warming its not as bad as it used to be. Shame you missed coming back to London, hope we don't have to wait to long to see you again, really miss your pics. Regards, Mick the Greek.

Hey there Leon

Yep, that'll be me celebrating a biggie birthday last week. I went to New York and Boston for 10 days. I had an excellent time, although did look wistfully at the riders in Central Park when I was supposed to be trying to understand the baseball. How you doing? i hope you had a good bithday, even if it didn't involve eating cakes at the tea hut and blasting your way home through the forest. What a shame about the secondment - we would love to have you back here! It seems as if everyone's got really fit this year - I had another six months off with the pesky foot injury, but I'm determined that I'll keep up with the lads now that I'm back. Gotta do my bit for my sex and age!

Hope to hear from you again soon

Cazxx
