Riding Sat/Sun 30/6-1/7Riding both days, 10.00am start bike shed south woodford unless its tipping down with rain, had a bad beastway this week, having had some great riding in Greece for 4 days in 43 degree C. got over confident and just felt drained, the cold and the rain did me no favours either,hopefully will post up a more detailed report on Greece later, in the meantime see you over the weekend, and just maybe somebody might join me doing the Beastway.

Could you please tell me how is the Forest riding at the moment? Is it a boggy mess or did the early-summer dry spell do enough to lessen the effects of the recent rain?
I've been away so have no idea how the trails are doing. I have a mate who has just upgraded his ancient Cro-mo Trek (800?) for a Kona Caldera and wants to get out this weekend. I was going to ask him along with us but if it's too muddy he'll possibly struggle to keep up?

Re Mud.Got the feeling it may be a bit muddy if the beastway was anything to go by and with the more rain today has not helped. If its raining/wet in the morning I will not be out. Regards to all, its certainly not Greek Weather.

Re RidingOwing to Rain/Wet + potential further Wet/Rain/Mud will not be riding this weekend, apologies to anybody still going, hoping for a dry beastway for Wednesday.
