Riding Sat/Sun 13/14 Oct.As long as its not raining out again 10.00 am both mornings from South Woodford, need some extra biking off to Greece again! How did the rest of you get on at Thetford?

Well, it was hard, it was tough...but we pulled through. I suppose it goes without saying that thanks to our team's spirit and sheer grit we crushed the fellow Epping riders. Caz put in some brave riding with lights that kept going out. As for our secret weapons, Dan and Ben...well it was a great sight to see them speed through the trees.
All in all...cold, tired and wanting a carbon hardtail.
If I don't do an early one I'll see you sunday.

Well done Pete & Co. 12 laps, 10th in the Mixed. (That's only one lap less than Matt in the pairs so a cracking effort)

Sorry about Saturday……..my excuse………
I was running a bit late. Got the bike out of the garage, it had a flat in the rear tyre (isn’t it a mystery how punctures occur when the bike’s in the garage  ). I mended the puncture with a new tube, pumped it up and put the bike on the car rack only to find it had gone down again. So I repaired the tube (as I still haven’t mended the tube you donated to me a couple of weeks ago), by which time it was past 10.00 and too late to get to Epping to meet you.

There was a Vicky and Andy team....Bernie had one, as did Tonto... Crushed em all. Didn't ride Sunday, rode to the bike show instead....hmm mixed bag that. Felt like it was really small although the full carbon road bikes had me fiddling with my pants for ages....
Planning on getting back into Epping this weekend tho...any mud yet?
