Riding Sat/Sun 12/13 May,Hope to be riding both days, 10 a.m. start bike shed, Epping Forest Ride.
Have to look at a map next time we do Hainault seeing as we managed to get lost completly last Sunday, twice ending up in a Golf Course, an east end mobsters hangout, and dense undergrowth, for more details just ask either Pete (smellyengine), Mick (The Brick) or Nick (The Roadie). By the way Caz, good move leaving when you did. With regard to this weekends ride, if its pouring with rain start without me!

We saw a lot of fields and gangsters indeed. Made a nice change though, even if we had to escape from viloin case wielding mobsters. Can't decide which day to ride yet....might bring sneaky cakes too. No wet rides though..One last thing...has anyone noticed that the top bit of a double decker, which I always thought was nougat, is actually nougatine?...What nancy boy thought that up? It was and always will be nugget.

I should be out and about this weekend. Went out when it was wet last weekend and because only the top surface had loosened and it was still bone dry underneath, it was like a skid pan... found myself sliding down banks on my arse on several occasions.. Not a pretty sight.
As for the nougat Pete inst that just marshmallow + rubber?

Guys/Gals,
What kind of pace is the Saturday ride expected to be? My mate is meeting me there but I wondered if other, 'slower' riders might be joining us too or otherwise I'll probably have to drop off the pack with him and do our own ride?
If that happens, I may well be back on Sunday morning (alone) to have a proper blast with you guys!!

Re speed of Sat Ride.I think a lot of the ride this weekend may depend on the rain!, as to pace, I have been getting fitter and a bit faster, but if Mukesh turns up you should have company at the back.
