Been a while since i last posted (you may remember a similar subject title this time last year).
For the record i am not a fair whether mountain biker, though i am crap at jumps and have had a long spell out with two fractured wrists - drop-offs only these days.
Anyway i am sure the warmer (dry) whether will be with us soon and i wondered if anyone fancied some mid-week rides. 5-6pm would suit for a couple of hours or so (until my fitness returns); rode with Bigguy on a couple of occasions last year, guess he can vouch for me - let me know if you are interested. |

Hi Billybob.
Hope to do a few midweek rides normally Weds, but only if the forest is dry, in the meantime why don't you have a go at the beastway rides held at Hainault Forest every other Weds , 5 races left. A bit competitive but fun.
Cheers Mike. |

Wednesdays sound good - guess we may have to wait a bit longer for the dry conditions though.
I was probably fit enough for the beastway last year - no chance this season , just happy to get back in the saddle.
I usually head out from the tea hut at high beach; i will post each week and hope for some company.
All the best. |

Its good to hear you up a riding again. I feel your pain Bill Bob. Just getting back after a fractured wrist myself.
I think my confidence took longer to return than my fitness. My weeks are so tight at the moment otherwise I would be well keen for a mid week. If I find a gap I will pm you, it will probably be a monday or tuesday, not exactly mid week, but these days its all I can seem to scrounge.

Hi Bigguy
Glad to see you are still getting out and about; keeping track of the posts kept my spirits up while I couldn't ride.
You're definitely right about the confidence; still bottling even the small jumps (guess I will have to leave that to the younger guys for now).
I can do most days, so just let me know.
All the best.
