Hi all, could you give me some more info about your Club?
Do you have to have an expensive bike to be in your Club?
Do you do many locals rides?
And is there a fee to join your Club?
Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Paddy

Hi Paddy
You can ride any bike so long as it is in good working order. You want the brakes to work and the gears should work smoothly too.
Some of us ride full suspension bikes, some with front suspension and some ride fully rigid bikes.
There is no fee to join in, you just turn up with your bike and a helmet. Gloves and eyewear are also pretty important as some of the trails can get pretty overgrown. We aren't a club, just a group of people who like to ride bikes.
This time of year its also best to have an extra layer with you to put on if we stop for a mechanical or whilst at the tea hut.
Most of our rides are local to Woodford/Chingford area. They mostly start from the Bike Shed in George Lane S.Woodford. Where are you based?
Keep an eye on the forum for more info about rides and check the 'sticky' at the top for maps of meeting places.
HTH

Also, water is pretty important either in bottles or via some sort of hydration system.
We stop for food at the tea hut, but you may want to either bring lunch with you or snacks to eat on the trail.
I think thats it now - but you never know.
