Hi,
I am relativley new to London and the UK, and rely on Public Transport.
If I want to go riding in Epping Forest, what is the best train stations etc.
Also, although I can find alot of info on Epping Forest being great for Mountain Biking. I can find details on specific trail rides.
Is there a suggested starting point's etc, and are the trails clearly marked.
Kind Regards,
Nebroc!!!

Hi Nebroc
There are many great trails in Epping Forest, but the best way to find them is to go out riding with the locals. The trails aren't signposted or even marked on a map.
Where abouts in London are you?
You may not be that far away...

Hi Emily,
I am coming to the Isle of Dogs, I could probably ride along the canals up towards Lee Valley and then divert across to Epping Forest, as an alternative to Public Transport.
Cheers,
Nebroc. |

Hi Nebroc
If you are up to it, cycling to the forest is the easiet option as public transport doesn't allow bikes (not anywhere useful anyway).
Look us up when you get here, I am sure the guys will be out riding and you can join them. Feel free to ask any more questions...
All the best
