Out in the forest yesterday.  Wow what a morning, it must have been -2 at 8am.  The ground was so firm it was like riding in the summer - I honestly didn't have to wash one bit of mud off when I finished; which as you know is a miracle for this time of year.
We only managed a couple of hours, though it felt fast and furious.
The biggest problem was over inflated tyres and rock hard ruts; I was bouncing off of everything - grinning as I went  Very Happy
No risk of erosion at this temperature; let's hope the cold snap lasts a bit longer - I'll trade cold feet for muddy slogs any day!
I will make sure I post prior to going next time - two's company, but more would be merrier.
