Sat. usual 10.00 am meet for normal forest ride.

Sunday, Awayday Bedgebury Forest on the Kent/
Sussex border, off the A.21 approx 16 miles north of Hastings, 10 km of family cycle track + 12kms single track mtb. & freeride area.Have been here once before, very impressed. New area with new facilities. Meet at Bedgebury car park for 10.30 am. If you wish to drive down in convoy or cadge a lift meet at bike shed sunday 8.30am. Drive down about 75/90mins. Please post if looking for lift. Car parking £6.00 at site (coins only) so may be worth doubling up where possible. Aim to leave about 4pm.for return.
ALL THE ABOVE DEPENDS ON WEATHER.

Hi, can't make either of these this week, but would be interested in future outings??
I have ridden at Bedgebury on two-three occasions and like you were impressed with the facilities (not just the single track / northshore, but the changing and clearning facilities etc).
Found it hard going after rain, as the surface water tends to slow progress - though as with many of the the forestry commission maintained sites, it is well worth the parking charge.
I will keep a look out for future posts.

Owing to continueing rain, and poor weather forecast for Sunday, will not be risking rideing at Bedgebury ( Save it for a dry hot day). Will try for usual Epping Forest ride as long as its not tipping down.
